RICH FANELLI

Principal

Richard Fanelli is a registered architect and has been in the commercial design profession since 1977. Working as an architect and designer for both local and national design firms in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., he founded Fanelli McClain in 1985. Rich’s clients benefit from his knowledge of facilities management trends and best practices. He has been an active member of the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA), where he has served as President of the Capital Chapter and on the IFMA International Board of Directors

 

 

 

Amy Smyth

AMY SMYTH

Senior Project Manager/Designer

Amy Smyth has been in the commercial interior planning and design field since graduating from Virginia Tech’s Interior Design program.  Since joining Fanelli McClain in 2000, she has managed numerous multi-phase, in-place renovations, as well as full service relocation projects for her clients. Her creative design and communication skills have earned her a high degree of repeat client work.

 

SEAN SMYTH

Associate/Senior Project Manager

Sean Smyth is a dynamic design professional who is skilled at orchestrating project teams to meet the goals and objectives of his clients. He excels at guiding his clients towards creative and optimal design solutions which lead to significant improvements in their work environments.  He balances a great sense of humor and a business-minded approach that keeps the project moving forward while making it an enjoyable experience for his clients.  Sean is also an expert in the design of high security and technology-intensive facilities. He has been designing secure facilities for his clients for over 18 years ranging from secret to SCI.

 

JUSTIN SMITH

Associate/Senior Project Manager

Justin Smith has been in the commercial interior planning and design field since graduating from Virginia Tech’s Interior Design program. Justin’s good nature and positive attitude make him a pleasure to work with.  His input into projects ensures that his clients get a creative design solution while staying within their established standards and budget constraints. His acute listening skills, creativity, and attention to detail are a great asset to Fanelli McClain and a great benefit to all of his clients.

 

 

NELSON GAULT

Associate/Senior Project Manager

Nelson Gault has been in the commercial interior planning and design field since graduating from Virginia Tech’s Interior Design program. He leads the Quality Control program and oversees the production of architectural construction documents at Fanelli McClain.  He ensures that our high quality standards are maintained in the preparation of our construction documents as well as coordination with the engineering trades.
